Every day we hear about more cybercrime. Whether it’s identity theft, phishing, or entire cities being hacked, it’s increasingly clear that we need cybersecurity professionals with the skills to keep companies, governments, and organizations safe.

With your M.S. in Cybersecurity Risk Management, you’ll be well prepared to take on the challenge of securing information systems and protecting data—whether you’re in the program to enhance your current career path or you want to transition to a new career. As a student in our program, you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to:

IU has been selected for three years in a row by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a school eligible for the Privacy Pathways program.  IAPP’s Privacy Pathways Program enables students to start an IAPP membership and earn Certified Information Privacy Professional (“CIPP”), Certified Information Privacy Manager (“CIPM”), and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (“CIPT”) designation(s) at a tremendous discount.  Students enjoy networking opportunities through IAPP membership.
